Position Overview
The Restaurant Team Lead / Crew Lead / Shift Manager is responsible for leading the team during their shift, ensuring guests receive a remarkable experience, and serving as the face of the restaurant.
Responsibilities
- Participate operationally in day-to-day activities in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant.
- Coach, lead, and train in operational excellence, staying true to all quality and time standards.
- Encourage the team to meet 2nd Mile Service goals.
- Respond immediately and respectfully to guests’ needs.
- Assist in training new hires, set the tone for a shift, and act as a role model.
- Function as a friendly, encouraging team player.
- Open and/or close the store, lead shifts, and act as key holder when required.
- Count drawers and finalize the day’s cash.
- Manage operational areas such as logistics, supply, or finance.
- Maintain excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Schedule & Experience
Scheduling is available for both days and evenings, Monday through Saturday. Prior experience as a shift lead, crew lead, supervisor, team lead, restaurant manager, or restaurant assistant manager is very helpful.
