The Experienced RN in the Cardiac Short Stay, PACU, CARU at Cleveland Clinic's Main Campus provides direct nursing care in a fast-paced cardiovascular recovery unit. This role is ideal for dedicated nurses looking to gain experience with diverse and higher-acuity patient populations.

• Schedule: Full-time, Day/Night rotation

What You'll Do

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, document and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and their families.

Requirements

Education

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program) required
• Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Experience

• One year of current acute care RN experience OR licensed military RN experience required

Licenses & Certifications

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required if in a Critical Care area
