This RN position is for Full Time positions on the Neuro Telemetry unit at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center. Neurological-Telemetry/ Medical-Surgical Unit

About The Job

48-Bed all private rooms including 20 telemetry beds. Types of neurological patients: stroke, seizure, brain mass, neuro-surg and demyelinating diseases. Types of med- surg patients focus is respiratory but service the general med-surg population. Straight shifts (either day shift or night shift positions) with three 12-hour shifts and every 3rd weekend schedule.

Key Responsibilities

As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs—from routine to highly complex. You will assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans. Interventions may be delivered directly or coordinated through collaboration with other members of the nursing team.

Qualifications

  • ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
  • Prior Clinical Nursing Experience preferred.
  • Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required (AHA or American Red Cross).

This position has a hiring range of USD $38.14 - USD $60.34 /Hr.
