Northern Staffing Services, in partnership with LexaMar Corporation of Boyne City, is seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate(s) will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise within a manufacturing facility. Competitive starting pay with benefits after probationary period.
Duties
- Operate a forklift to move materials within the warehouse
- Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves
- Perform routine pre and post inspections on forklift equipment
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the warehouse
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures while operating the forklift
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to ensure efficient operations
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar role
- Proficiency in operating heavy equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks
- Knowledge of materials handling techniques
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required
- Strong understanding of OSHA regulations related to forklift operation
- Must have 3rd shift availability
