Silverthorne Earthmoving pty ltd is seeking an experienced GPS dozer operator to join our team in Karratha, WA on a casual basis. As a GPS dozer operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to complete earthmoving and site preparation tasks on construction projects. This is a hands-on role that plays a crucial part in the successful delivery of our projects.

What you'll be doing

• Operate heavy plant machinery, such as dozers, with precision and care
• Conduct pre-start checks and monitor the performance of equipment during operation
• Interpret site plans and GPS data to accurately shape and grade terrain
• Communicate with the wider project team to coordinate activities
• Maintain detailed logs of work completed and report any issues or damage to equipment
• Ensure strict compliance with all health, safety and environmental regulations

What we're looking for

• Extensive experience as a GPS dozer operator in the construction industry
• Thorough understanding of how to operate and maintain heavy plant machinery
• Ability to read and interpret site plans, technical drawings and GPS data
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with the team
• Commitment to safe work practices and environmental sustainability
• Relevant plant operator's license and certification
