Forklift Operator
Abacus Staffing is currently seeking experienced Forklift Operators for a leading warehouse facility in Aurora, IL. We are looking for dependable and safety-conscious individuals with experience operating multiple types of powered industrial trucks in a fast-paced distribution environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate Reach Truck, Cherry Picker, Sit-Down Forklift, and Electric Pallet Jack (EPJ)
- Safely load, unload, move, stack, and stage products and materials
- Pick customer orders using warehouse management systems and RF scanners
- Replenish inventory and perform stock movements as needed
- Conduct equipment inspections before and after use
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and location tracking
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Assist with general warehouse duties when required
Requirements
- Previous experience operating Reach Truck, Cherry Picker, Sit-Down Forklift, and EPJ
- Ability to pass a forklift assessment/certification process
- Experience using RF scanners preferred
- Strong attention to safety and accuracy
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work throughout the shift
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance record
Schedule
1st Shift
- Monday through Friday
- Pay: $20.00/hour
2nd Shift
- Monday through Friday
- Pay: $21.00/hour
