Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced commercial/retail electrical service technician to service retail locations in Chicagoland area to join our team! You will be responsible for installing and repairing wiring, electrical fixtures, and control equipment, as well as training apprentices on the job. If you are an Electrician with a can-do attitude who takes pride in his work, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Follow all safety rules and regulations
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Use blueprints, sketches, or building plans to determine electrical requirements and materials needed
• Install new electrical systems and repair existing systems
• Provide bids for work orders
• Interact with customers, suppliers, and other professionals
• Experience in EMS troubleshooting
• Lighting and Controls
• Power install and troubleshooting
• Conduit bending and install
• Building automation and energy management
• Troubleshoot and repair of power issues/outages, lighting issues and controls

· Ability to diagnose and repair in a timely manner

· Lighting retrofits

· Ability to operate bucket truck, scissor lifts and boom lifts

· Communicate issues and resolutions with dispatch

· Availability for after hours and weekend emergencies at OT rate

Qualifications :

• Electrician License (preferred)
• Previous experience as an Electrician
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
• Strong understanding of mathematical concepts and measurements
• Professional appearance and courteous personality
