Our client is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their team. This role is ideal for a motivated engineer with over 6 years of experience, preferably licensed as a PE. You will assume lead design and project management on complex projects, and serve as a mentor to junior engineers. You will also play a key role in quality assurance, client coordination, and technical leadership.
What you'll be doing:
- Lead design and documentation of electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, and life safety
- Perform complex design calculations and QA/QC reviews
- Attend and contribute to client meetings, construction site visits, and coordination sessions
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and attend client/site meetings
- Guide junior engineers and support project delivery
- Use REVIT and other softwares for design and documentation
- Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure integrated project delivery
- Track project progress using external and internal projection tools
- Support department standards development and process improvement initiatives
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 6+ years of experience in electrical design
- PE license preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills
- Proficiency in REVIT and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Familiarity with applicable building codes and standards
- Experience mentoring junior staff
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
