Experienced CNC Operator

CNC OperatorLargest aluminum scrap recycler west of Mississippi. 100+ year old family owned and operated firm.Pay: $22.00 to $26.00 / hourly DOEEssential Functions: Operate CNC mill and lathe jobs simple to complex, short and long run production. Perform documented in process inspections, update setup instructions, tooling / fixturing documentation as needed.

Assist in training of less experienced staff, manage tool offsets, and perform any other duties as needed. Mazak lathe experience a plus. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.Key Responsibilities:CNC Machine Operation: Operate CNC mills or lathes to produce precision machined parts. Including, but not limited to: reading and interpreting part documentation, work orders, setup and tooling instructions to meet production requirements, perform first and second article inspections, and in process inspections using precision measuring instruments.Maintenance: Conduct daily preventative maintenance on machines and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.

Replace worn tooling as needed and perform housekeeping duties to maintain a clean work environment.Collaboration: Work with team members to produce products that meet customer requirements and assist in training other associates on machine operationDocumentation: Update records of machine setups, production runs, inspections, and suggest improvements to machining methods for efficiency.Additional Responsibilities:Operate equipment in a safe manner.Accurate and complete time tracking with achievement of expected B-B cycles and shift yieldsAssist with training of other staffUnderstand and read blueprints, i.e. part views, definitions and foot notes.Be attentive, attention to detail!Keep up with offline support tasksAbility to stand for long periods of timeAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.Maintain a clean and safe working environmentBenefits:Medical / dental / vision company sponsored planPTO accrual plan401k with 4% company match7 paid holidays
