Womble Bond Dickinson (US) LLP seeks an experienced Business Litigation Counsel to join its Houston, Texas office. This is an off-track Counsel position with a reduced billable-hour requirement and no expectation for business development or firm management responsibilities.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of experience as a practicing litigator in connection with complex business disputes and a strong desire to work in a fast-paced litigation practice.

Candidates must have an excellent understanding of civil procedure, experience in taking and defending depositions, managing and/or supervising litigation cases, as well as significant court room experience.

Must be admitted to the Texas bar or eligible for immediate admission.

Candidates must have excellent academic credentials and outstanding written and oral communication skills, including complex motion practice and interacting with clients.
