Experienced Backhoe Operator
We are seeking an experienced Backhoe Operator for a local company. The ideal candidate will have previous experience safely operating a backhoe in a construction, excavation, or site-work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a backhoe for digging, trenching, grading, and excavation
- Load and move dirt, gravel, and other materials
- Work around underground utilities and active job sites
- Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Follow job-site safety procedures and supervisor instructions
- Assist with general site work as needed
Requirements:
- Previous backhoe operating experience required
- Strong knowledge of safe heavy-equipment operation
- Ability to perform accurate digging and grading
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Dependable transportation and strong attendance
- Ability to perform physical labor when needed
