Contract - Expeditor
Our company is seeking a motivated contract expeditor to join our team. The expeditor is responsible for monitoring and accelerating the flow of materials, components, and information throughout the supply chain to ensure on-time delivery for production and customer orders. This role works closely with purchasing, suppliers, production, and logistics teams to resolve delays and maintain schedule commitments.
Job responsibilities:
- Tracking progress
- Monitoring orders, materials or tasks to ensure they stay on schedule
- Coordinating teams
- Communicating between departments (production, purchasing, logistics, etc.)
- Preventing delays
- Identifying bottlenecks and resolving issues quickly
- Following up on orders
- Ensuring materials, supplies, or dishes are delivered or completed on time
- Updating status
- Reporting progress to managers or stakeholders
