Expeditor

Our client is seeking an Expeditor to serve as the liaison between the shop floor, and MRP system. This person will help ensure materials, orders, and inventory transactions are accurately reflected in the system and troubleshoot gaps when information does not align.
The team is transitioning from spreadsheets to JobBOSS², and this individual will play a key role in helping bridge operational and system-related discrepancies.
Responsibilities
Monitor production orders as they move through the process.
Coordinate between the shop floor, and teams to ensure materials are available when needed.
Verify raw material receipts, work orders, and inventory transactions within the MRP system.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical inventory/material movement and system records.
Generate and track production paperwork (PPW) and related documentation.
Support forklift/material handling teams by ensuring materials are delivered to the appropriate departments.
Maintain accurate data within JobBOSS² and assist with process improvements as the company transitions away from spreadsheet-based tracking.
Spend approximately 95% of the time on the shop floor utilizing tablets and the MRP system.

Required Skills & Experience
3-5 years of experience in a manu environment.
Experience with MRP/ERP systems; JobBOSS² preferred.
Background in one or more of the following:
Expediting
Purchasing Assistant
Shipping & Receiving
Production Control
Inventory Coordination
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to identify process gaps and course-correct when system data does not align with operational activity.
