We are a growing dental practice seeking a motivated and dependable Dental EDDA to join our team. This is a great opportunity to work in a new office environment where teamwork, patient care, and professionalism are valued.
Dental EDDA Duties & Responsibilities:
Welcome customers to the dental office
Prepare customers for treatments or checkups, ensuring their comfort
Select and set up instruments, equipment and materials needed
Sterilize instruments according to regulations
Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures
Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
Support both front office and back office operations when needed
Maintain accurate patient records in the practice management system
Maintain dental equipment inventory
Follow all infection control and safety protocols
Dental Assistant Requirements:
Dental EDDA certifications required
BLS/AED certification preferred
Experience with Open Dental and/or Dentrix required
X-ray certification required
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environments
Reliable professional, and patient-focused
Good computer skills
High school diploma
