We are currently seeking an experienced Didde Press Operator to join our Prescott Valley Print Facility team.This is a full-time, day or night shift position and plays a critical role in pressroom production.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform make-ready and operate the Didde press to print inserts, periodical covers, and specialty print jobs according to written specificationsMonitor press operation and maintain consistent print quality; determine acceptable vs. unacceptable output while the press is runningPerform all operational duties necessary to achieve desired production resultsAssist pressroom personnel in all phases of daily productionMaintain press and related equipment through preventative maintenance practicesWorks toward newsprint and high gloss waste standards and waste reduction programsAssist in other press and production areas as neededOperate forklift, clamp truck, and pallet jack (must be certifiable)Experience with Goss Community Press equipment is a plus.Participates in company safety policies and procedures.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredAbility to lift a minimum of 70 lbs.Ability to climb ladders up to 25 feetMechanical aptitude and strong attention to detailAbility to work night shiftBenefitsWe offer a competitive benefits package including:Medical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceDisability CoverageBridge InsuranceEmployer-paid Life Insurance401(k) PlanNew Hire Perk!Prescott Newspapers, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EEO).
