The hospital is part of the Montefiore Health System, a premier academic health system serving more than 3 million people living in the New York City region and Hudson Valley.Position Summary:Perform accurate assessments for patients with cardiovascular disease including exercise prescriptions, EKG telemetry interpretations, patient education and safe exercise floor supervision.Job Duties Include:Assess patients' fitness and healthDesign exercise programs to meet patient goals by increasing their cardiovascular fitnessMaintain daily quality control for all Cardiac Rehab equipmentPrepare medical necessity reportsEducation and Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science / Physiology required.
