We're Hiring: Fractional Executive Director

This is a rare opportunity for an experienced nonprofit professional to help build something that matters.

The UCS Foundation, a 40-year-old 501(c)(3) supporting students and educators in one of Michigan's largest school districts, is hiring its first-ever Fractional Executive Director. We're at a pivotal moment in our growth, with a clear five-year vision and the programs, community relationships, and board support to get there. We need the right leader to help take us to the next level.

What this role is:

A hands‑on, equally administrative and revenue‑generating position. You will own execution of our existing annual program calendar (Career Focus Luncheon, Golf Outing, Superintendent Scholarships, Chelsie Bemis Teacher Grants, Century Club) while actively developing new fundraising initiatives and growing donor relationships in the Macomb County business and civic community.

What we're looking for:

• 5+ years in nonprofit management, fundraising, or event-based program leadership
• Proven track record in donor cultivation and sponsor development
• Self-directed, operationally strong, and comfortable representing an organization publicly

The structure:

Independent contractor (1099) | 15-20 hrs/week | $50-$65/hour | Monthly ceiling of 80 hours
