Senior Living Community | Southern Oregon

Nestled in the natural beauty of Southern Oregon, our community is more than a place to work — it's a place where careers become callings and every day brings the chance to make a real difference in someone's life. We're looking for a warm, capable, and mission-driven Executive Director to lead our team and help our residents thrive.

Who We Are

At Mosaic Management, we live our F.A.I.T.H.E. values every day — bringing f un, a p ositive a ttitude, i ntegrity, t eamwork, h onesty, and e ffort into all that we do. We're always looking for compassionate team members who want to choose a meaningful career at Mosaic and have a positive impact on our seniors' lives.

About the Role

As Executive Director, you'll be the heart of our community — setting the tone, leading the team, and ensuring every resident, family member, and staff member feels seen, supported, and cared for. You'll blend big-picture leadership with hands-on presence, walking the halls, knowing residents by name, and building a culture where your team feels proud to come to work.

This is a role for someone who leads with both head and heart: comfortable with budgets, regulations, and operations, but just as comfortable sitting down for coffee with a resident or checking in on a team member having a tough day.

What You'll Do

  • Set the tone for a warm, calm, and welcoming community — one where residents, families, and team members feel genuinely cared for.
  • Build and maintain the policies, procedures, and professional standards that keep the community running smoothly and safely.
  • Champion a culture of accountability, making sure team members, residents, and visitors alike follow community and company guidelines.
  • Lead the way during state and federal surveys — coordinating your team, greeting surveyors, and representing the community with confidence.
  • Turn survey findings into action: work with your team to understand what happened and build thoughtful plans to make things better.
  • Stay closely connected with residents and families, serving as a trusted point of contact and a familiar, caring face.
  • Keep a regular eye on quality measures catching and correcting discrepancies before they become bigger issues.
  • Own the administrative leadership of the community — guiding programs, activities, and day-to-day operations with confidence and care.
  • Make sure your team always has what they need — from supplies to equipment — to provide great care every single day.
  • Manage the business side with an eye toward sustainability: meeting budget and census goals so the community can keep thriving for years to come.

What You Bring

  • A genuine passion for senior care, with the knowledge and skills to support residents' wellbeing every day.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Confidence to make sound, independent decisions — and the good judgment to know when to loop others in.
  • A tactful, people-first approach with staff, residents, families, visitors, surveyors, and the community at large.
  • Solid working knowledge of your state's assisted living regulations, the survey process, and quality measures.
  • Familiarity with reimbursement regulations, senior care best practices, and the laws and guidelines that govern senior living communities.
  • The ability to plan, organize, and bring programs and policies to life — turning goals into action and action into great outcomes.
  • A working knowledge of personnel administration laws, regulations, and best practices.
