About the Role
Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead the daily operations of an inpatient substance use disorder (SUD) treatment center. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral health operations, previous experience as a facility or site leader, and a proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams while ensuring high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily facility operations, including clinical, medical, and administrative departments.
- Lead, mentor, and develop department leaders to ensure operational excellence.
- Ensure compliance with state regulations, licensing requirements, and accreditation standards.
- Manage budgets, staffing, operational KPIs, and overall facility performance.
- Collaborate with clinical leadership to maintain high standards of patient care and safety.
- Drive operational improvements, staff retention, and organizational growth.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an Executive Director, Facility Administrator, Director of Operations, or similar site leadership role in behavioral health.
- Strong operational background in inpatient substance abuse treatment, including detox and residential levels of care.
- Demonstrated experience managing multidisciplinary teams, budgets, and facility performance.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance, licensing, and Joint Commission or CARF standards.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree preferred; advanced degree a plus.
