Executive Director

Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead the daily operations of an inpatient substance use disorder (SUD) treatment center. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral health operations, previous experience as a facility or site leader, and a proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams while ensuring high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily facility operations, including clinical, medical, and administrative departments.
• Lead, mentor, and develop department leaders to ensure operational excellence.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations, licensing requirements, and accreditation standards.
• Manage budgets, staffing, operational KPIs, and overall facility performance.
• Collaborate with clinical leadership to maintain high standards of patient care and safety.
• Drive operational improvements, staff retention, and organizational growth.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Executive Director, Facility Administrator, Director of Operations, or similar site leadership role in behavioral health.
• Strong operational background in inpatient substance abuse treatment, including detox and residential levels of care.
• Demonstrated experience managing multidisciplinary teams, budgets, and facility performance.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance, licensing, and Joint Commission or CARF standards.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; advanced degree a plus.
