The Executive Director, Rehabilitation Services is responsible for the vision, strategic direction, and operational oversight of Baptist and Wolfson Rehabilitation Services across the Baptist Health System. This leader provides system-wide leadership for rehabilitation services, including Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology, Massage Therapy, and the Wolfson/Beaches Wellness Centers, serving neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.
The Executive Director is accountable for integrating rehabilitation services across the health system while ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, financial stewardship, quality outcomes, and strategic growth. This role partners closely with rehabilitation leaders across all Baptist Health facilities to promote collaboration, innovation, continuous improvement, and exceptional patient-centered care.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for rehabilitation services across the Baptist Health System.
- Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality rehabilitation services through standardized practices, regulatory compliance, and performance improvement initiatives.
- Lead and support rehabilitation leaders across all facilities to achieve operational, financial, and quality goals.
- Develop and execute strategic initiatives that promote program growth, operational efficiency, and exceptional patient outcomes.
- Foster a collaborative, innovative culture that supports employee engagement, leadership development, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee departmental budgets, resource allocation, productivity, and financial performance.
- Partner with physicians, nursing leaders, and executive leadership to advance rehabilitation services and support organizational priorities.
- Optimize operations to improve productivity, maintain quality standards, and enhance the patient experience across the continuum of care.
Experience Requirements:
- Over 5 years of clinical patient care experience required.
- 3–5 years of acute patient care experience required.
- 3–5 years of personnel management experience required.
- 3–5 years of budgeting and financial management experience required.
Education & Certification Requirements:
Education
- Master's degree required.
Certifications/Licensure
Candidates must possess at least one of the following active licenses or certifications:
- Licensed Physical Therapist (PT)
- Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid driver's license required.
