Hourly Pay: $118k-$130k annually with previous work experience.
Schedules: M–F and occasional weekends; 8am-5pm, on-call 24/7 for emergencies.

The role of the Executive Director requires a combination of organizational leadership and operational talent as well as strategic expertise. The Executive Director provides the management expertise for achieving the goals and objectives of the program in accordance with the mission of the organization. The Executive Director reports to the Regional Operations Director and supervises various department supervisors and staff.
Responsibilities
Divided into six broad categories: planning, organization, operations/management, financial resources, human resources, and leadership.
- Planning
- Engage in planning to determine goals and objectives, establish priorities, and frame an appropriate organizational structure.
- Develop a business plan based on community needs assessment, trend evaluation, and data analysis.
- Support the business plan with an effective public relations program to build community understanding and support.
- Organization
- Create and monitor an organizational structure that is dynamic and responsive to participant needs.
- Develop an organizational plan assigning responsibilities to functional departments and individuals.
- Implement continuity plans to ensure ongoing program stability and performance standards.
- Operations (Management)
- Oversee day‑to‑day operations, maintain infrastructure, and ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
- Ensure facility-wide assessment to determine required resources for resident care.
- Maintain an effective comprehensive, data‑driven QAPI program and lead the Quality Council.
- Implement Antibiotic Stewardship and enforce corporate compliance program.
- Financial Resources
- Manage program resources cost‑effectively, implementing organizational financial policies.
- Develop and implement a program‑specific fundraising plan to secure community financial support.
- Human Resources
- Create a work atmosphere that empowers employees and promotes recruitment, hiring, retention, and development.
- Implement strategies to build employee morale, problem‑solving skills, and service excellence.
- Leadership
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in managing and effecting change.
- Develop sharp communication skills and network with community and professional representatives.
- Serve as enforcer of Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act and the Age Discrimination Act.
- Attend required in‑services and complete assigned online modules.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration or related field; licensed Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) for the state of Colorado.
- Minimum of five years of management experience, preferably in a long‑term care healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of long‑term healthcare and public health settings; familiarity with federal and state long‑term care regulations.
- Negotiation skills and ability to handle multiple levels of reasoning during problem‑solving sessions.
- High degree of professionalism; ability to handle extremely confidential information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, e‑mail, and the Internet.
- Flexibility to work occasional weekends and holidays.
- Ability to use computers and other electronic devices for tasks such as timekeeping and documentation.
