Qualifications
While a bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred,all applicants shouldprocess increasing responsibility in 911 operations. With a bachelor’s degree, the candidate should have 2 years management and 4 years of 911/public safety operational experience. Without saiddegree, requirements include 10 years operational and4 years management experience. It is desirable thatall applicants have broad experience in management,budget and finance, and human resources. Whileresidency within the County is preferred, it is essentialthat the candidate be available for management dutiesduring significant emergencies.

Dependent on experience, the estimated salaryrange is $95,000 to $125,000.
