Responsibilities
- Manage the Sponsors portfolio under Transaction Banking (FI Sales) for clients assigned directly and support teams across relationships to grow cash and trade business for clients in the Americas.
- Collaborate with Relationship Managers and stakeholders to grow cash‑management, SC Prism FX and trade finance business in line with the Global Transaction Banking strategy and risk parameters.
- Drive cash and trade business for the Sponsors segment, taking responsibility for franchise revenues and origination.
- Identify client needs, originate new business and grow the franchise by leveraging the bank’s network and developing new relationships where required.
- Engage senior management and decision‑makers of key clients to improve dialogue quality, promoting a move from transactional coverage to a value‑added partner role, and provide strategic advice with relevant product and industry partners.
- Maximise profitable revenue while maintaining focus on client outcomes and strengthening relationships at senior and operational levels.
- Deliver financial performance for the country/region as per the agreed budget.
- Conduct market analysis for each country in the region to identify new business opportunities in coordination with Product Management and Credit.
- Match customers’ needs with product capabilities through tailored presentations and proposals.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with customers to maximise revenue and profitability.
- Assist coverage teams in providing structured solutions to meet specific cash‑management and trade‑service requirements of customers and prospects.
- Implement a disciplined sales‑management process.
- Support product management in the commercialization of strategic product rollouts.
- Provide feedback to Product Management, Marketing and other areas to ensure the voice of the customer and local requirements are incorporated into ongoing plans and initiatives.
- Keep abreast of customers’ needs, trends and product‑/market intelligence for new product developments and enhancements, strengthening the bank’s competitive position.
- Ensure smooth deal implementation and high levels of service quality.
- Address customer service issues and provide a high level of post‑sales service.
- Benchmark and identify opportunities to establish sustainable sales, product and service advantages against global banking competitors.
- Establish and maintain governance frameworks to ensure sales processes comply with internal policies, procedures, business conduct requirements and applicable external laws and regulations.
- Ensure adherence to compliance policies and manage financial‑crime risk.
- Manage the Transaction Banking relationship across all products for a portfolio of FI and Sponsors clients.
- Undertake and manage RFP and deal processes, ensuring optimal solutions are presented to customers and overseeing implementation and service quality.
- Provide feedback to Product Management on customer needs, trends and market intelligence, and guide proposed project programmes.
- Lead regular pricing reviews, including the impact of waivers or non‑standard pricing and implement appropriate local pricing at the product level.
- Monitor client onboarding and other compliance‑related work.
- Ensure the service team conducts regular client reviews to validate service levels and implements client feedback where possible.
- Ensure compliance with Money‑Laundering prevention under group policy, standards and local laws and regulations.
- Ensure that clients are serviced promptly and efficiently by the service team.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of broad banking experience.
- Deep knowledge of Transaction Banking products, specifically cash management and trade finance solutions.
- Experience solving transaction‑banking needs of large global Sponsors clients.
- Existing contacts with decision‑makers at Financial Sponsors in the Americas.
- Proven ability to independently identify, drive and deliver on opportunities.
- Strong executive impact and track record of new‑to‑bank sales success.
- Certification in advanced Trade/Cash.
- Advanced or expert knowledge in Cash and/or Trade.
- Ability to structure solutions and handle documentation.
- Strong credit understanding and experience.
- Recognised industry expert in Cash and/or Trade.
- Ability to anticipate global market trends and their impact on strategy.
- Understanding of how to work effectively within a matrix/network organization.
- Capability to analyse working‑capital and funding needs.

Compensation
Expected annual base pay range for the role is 175,000 USD to 260,000 USD. The final offer will be determined on an individualised basis using a number of variables, including skill set, depth of experience, education, internal relativity and specific work location. In addition, discretionary variable pay and a range of attractive bank‑sponsored benefit programmes are available, designed to foster overall health and well‑being.
