Role Overview


The Corporate FP&A Executive Director reports to the Chief Financial Officer and leads the company's global FP&A agenda, including long-range planning, annual budgeting, forecasting, performance management, strategic decision support, management reporting, and enterprise performance monitoring.


Key Responsibilities



  • Lead long-range planning, annual budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning; ensure alignment of strategic, operational, and financial plans.

  • Anticipate in-year decisions; identify risks/opportunities; evaluate trade-offs and support dynamic resource reallocation.

  • Provide strategic decision support to CFO, executive leadership, and Board on profitability, cash flow, capital allocation, investment prioritization, strategic planning, M&A support, and enterprise performance.

  • Develop management reporting, KPI frameworks, dashboards, driver-based analysis, and business review materials.

  • Champion predictive analytics, AI-enabled forecasting, scenario modeling, cost analytics, profitability improvement, and data-driven insights.

  • Lead FP&A technology roadmap; partner with Finance/IT/business to scale decision-support tools and analytics products.

  • Build, mentor, and develop a global FP&A team.

  • Establish governance over planning assumptions, data quality, analytics outputs, and recurring decision-support processes.

  • Partner cross-functionally to monitor leading indicators and drive corrective actions.

  • Provide specialist R&D finance support (pipeline strategy through therapeutic area investment decisions), including evaluating portfolio cost/value/risk/return.

  • Ensure disciplined cost management, compliance with finance standards, and adherence to SOX and FCF control requirements.


Requirements



  • Bachelor's degree required (Finance/Econ/Business/Accounting or related quantitative); MBA/CFA/CPA preferred; Lean/Ag preferred.

  • 10–15 years progressive finance/FP&A, including leading/managing teams; strategic decision support to CFO/C-suite; long-range planning, profitability improvement, capital efficiency, investment evaluation, feasibility studies, M&A support.

  • Advanced enterprise financial systems proficiency (ERP, BI, advanced FP&A systems); strong knowledge of predictive analytics, AI/ML forecasting, scenario modeling, data visualization; ability to translate digital tech into finance process improvements.

  • English required.

  • Base pay range: $294,483–$386,511 USD.

  • Performance-based bonus and/or equity (eligible roles).
