About the Role

This role involves overseeing the publications program, including contract negotiations, and developing strategies for membership growth and professional development. The Executive Director will also be involved in conference planning, budgeting, and will be the main point of contact for the Board. Candidates for the Executive Director position at the company should have a proven track record of 5-10+ years in senior leadership within a scientific society or association, with a strong background in revenue growth, fiscal management, and diversification. Essential qualifications include a bachelor's degree (advanced degree preferred) and experience in scientific publishing and conference management. The ideal candidate will have a strategic vision, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a genuine passion for science. A global mindset, cultural fluency, and the ability to build lasting partnerships are also key attributes.
