As a vital part of our team, the Executive Director must be a strong leader with the ability to provide operational oversight. They will set the ultimate example for servant-hearted excellence and positive culture in the restaurant while showing genuine care for our team and guests. The Executive Director will work alongside the Owner/Operator to lead, grow, and support the team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The responsibilities and tasks for this role directly relate to the 4 pillars of our mission statement.

1. Obsession for exceptional service

  • Be the go-to expert in the restaurant for safety, service, and productivity, setting the standard for best practices.

2. Drive for continual growth

  • Enthusiastically lead the team; celebrate successes while holding team members accountable for performance results
  • Perform managerial tasks such as strategizing business goals, reviewing reports and results, and team development
  • Ensure Chick-fil-A Chesterfield Valley is stewarding all resources well and meeting and exceeding all Chick-fil-A standards

3. Commitment to operational excellence

  • Take full ownership of the restaurant's Profit and Loss (P&L) statement, operating within specified parameters for labor, food, and general expenses.
  • Partner with other leaders to plan ahead to ensure that the store runs with excellence at all times.
  • Operate within the prescribed limits for labor, food, and general expenses.
  • Ongoing evaluation of the store; streamlining systems/processes to improve efficiency and to build sustainable sales and profit growth

4. Focus on developing remarkable leaders

  • Oversee a team of four key Directors within the restaurant, guiding and mentoring them to ensure high levels of performance
  • Accountable for leading, training, and developing the team, including directors
  • Know, set, and evolve store goals with a focus on key metrics: Sales growth, profitability, food safety, customer experience scores
  • Meet regularly with Operator and Leadership Team for training/personal development and to execute the overall vision

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4 year college degree
  • Minimum of 5 years management experience in the food, hospitality or retail industry
  • Experience managing a team of 50 or more staff
  • Positive track record of creating high-performing systems
  • Proven experience managing a profit & loss center
