EXECUTIVE CAREER COACH, MIT SLOAN CAREER DEVELOPMENT OFFICE, Sloan School of Management, to provide individual and group executive career coaching to Sloan Fellows MBAs, Executive MBAs, and MIT Sloan alumni; design and deliver workshops, webinars, and panel discussions focused on executive career strategy, leadership transitions, and lifelong career development; contribute to the development and enhancement of MIT Sloan’s online executive career curriculum and educational resources; foster community engagement through speaker series, mentorship programs, and executive education initiatives, while partnering with student-led organizations to support career programming, networking, and employer engagement; collaborate with the Employer Relations & Recruiting team to share market insights that inform recruiting strategies and contribute to career communications, including newsletters, blog content, and career education materials.

Job Requirements

n

REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree in a related field; at least three years of career services experience, including executive career coaching, preferably with Executive MBA populations; and an International Coaching Federation credential (ACC, PCC, or MCC); candidates should possess a minimum of five years of leadership experience, ideally within global corporations, technology, finance, healthcare, retail, or startup environments; demonstrated expertise in executive career development, assessment tools such as Clifton Strengths, and career development frameworks including Bridges’ Transition Model and Schein’s Career Anchors; and strong presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage executive audiences. PREFERRED: Master’s degree; experience advising leaders across diverse industries, sectors, and organizational environments; understanding of emerging AI technologies and their application to enhance coaching effectiveness, career insights, market intelligence, and outcomes reporting; and familiarity with MIT Sloan and its executive education ecosystem.
