Focus People is conducting a confidential search for an accomplished Executive Assistant to CEO to support the Founder and CEO of an established, high-growth technology organization in Atlanta.

This is not a traditional administrative support position. We are looking for an experienced CEO-level Executive Assistant who can operate as a trusted extension of a highly driven executive—someone who anticipates needs, protects focus time, understands priorities, solves problems independently, and creates structure in a fast-moving environment.

The right person will combine executive-level judgment and business acumen with exceptional attention to detail and hands-on support . You should be equally comfortable navigating competing executive priorities, interacting with senior leaders and customers, leveraging AI to improve workflows, coordinating a high-stakes schedule, and proactively handling the details that allow a CEO to operate at his best.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as a trusted partner and primary support resource to the CEO, anticipating needs and proactively resolving issues before they require executive attention.
  • Own and strategically manage a complex, frequently changing executive calendar while protecting critical focus time.
  • Evaluate incoming requests and competing priorities to determine what requires immediate CEO attention, what can be delegated, and what can be rescheduled.
  • Prepare the CEO for each day with clear, detailed visibility into upcoming meetings, priorities, commitments, and necessary follow-up.
  • Coordinate complex meetings, executive travel, leadership activities, customer engagements, dinners, and special events.
  • Build strong working relationships with Executive Leadership Team members and other high-level internal and external stakeholders.
  • Represent the CEO professionally when coordinating with senior executives, customers, Board-level stakeholders, and other key partners.
  • Anticipate recurring executive preferences and needs rather than relying on repeated direction.
  • Use AI, automation, and emerging technology to improve executive workflows, productivity, preparation, communication, and operational efficiency.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with exceptional judgment and discretion.
  • Remain calm, organized, and solutions-oriented when priorities change quickly or urgent needs arise.
  • Maintain clear focus on the CEO's priorities while building positive and collaborative relationships throughout the organization.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience directly supporting a CEO is required.
  • Significant experience as an Executive Assistant, Executive Business Partner, Senior Executive Assistant, or similar CEO-level support professional.
  • Experience supporting an executive in a fast-paced, complex business environment.
  • Technology, SaaS, cybersecurity, fintech, or another fast-moving technology-driven environment is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a highly complex executive calendar and make sound prioritization decisions with limited direction.
  • Exceptional judgment, discretion, emotional intelligence, and executive presence.
  • Ability to anticipate needs and act independently without requiring constant instruction or approval.
  • Confidence interacting with senior executives, customers, leadership teams, and other high-stakes stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to adapt to a direct, concise executive communication style.
  • Ability to remain composed and effective in a high-volume environment with frequently changing priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to handle both strategic responsibilities and highly detailed executive support.
  • Demonstrated career stability, including at least one tenure of three or more years with a single organization within the last 10 years .
  • Must be based in the Atlanta area and able to work onsite a minimum of three days per week, with flexibility for additional onsite days when executive meetings, leadership visits, or events require it.

AI Fluency Is Essential

This executive actively embraces AI and automation, and the successful EA will be expected to do the same.

We are looking for someone who doesn't simply "use ChatGPT," but actively explores how AI can make work better and more efficient. You should be comfortable using modern AI tools to streamline workflows, automate repetitive work, organize information, prepare executives, and solve business problems.

Experience creating or experimenting with AI agents, automated workflows, advanced prompting, or AI-enabled productivity systems is highly valued.

Be prepared to tell us about something you have built, automated, improved, or repeatedly refined using AI.

Youll Thrive in This Role If You...

You naturally think several steps ahead. You don't need every detail spelled out before taking action, and when something changes unexpectedly, your instinct is to solve the problem rather than become overwhelmed by it.

You understand that supporting a CEO requires both strategic judgment and exceptional execution. No task is beneath you when it helps the executive and organization operate more effectively.

You can protect an executive's time without damaging relationships, confidently navigate competing priorities, read the room, and adjust your communication style to the situation.

You are comfortable working with a highly intelligent, focused, direct executive who values efficiency, preparation, independence, and results.

Most importantly, you take pride in becoming the person your executive can rely on to know what needs to happen next—often before being asked.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary of approximately $120,000–$140,000
  • Equity opportunity through Restricted Stock Units (RSUs)
  • Additional company benefits to be discussed during the interview process

This is a direct-hire opportunity.

Confidential Search

This search is being conducted confidentially. Additional information about the organization and leadership team will be shared with qualified candidates at the appropriate stage of the interview process.

If you are an experienced CEO-level Executive Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced technology environment and believes exceptional executive support is equal parts judgment, anticipation, technology, relationship management, and execution , we would welcome the opportunity to speak with you.
