Operating Council Leader Administrative AssistantProvide highly complex administrative support to an Operating Council (OC) Leader. Partner with the supported OC Leader and other executive assistants to ensure a smooth efficient operating environment for the highest level of senior executive management.Essential Duties And Responsibilities Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Specific activities may change from time to time.Ensure effective communication and partnership with Executive Assistant teammates. Identify issues, research questions, and bring matters to manager's attention.Establish and maintain files and records.Manage executive's schedule (including appointments, meetings, and arrangement of travel requirements and itineraries) and correspondence by gathering information, preparing and editing communications and designing and preparing graphic presentations.Complete projects and special assignments by establishing objectives; determining priorities; managing time; gaining cooperation of others; monitoring progress; problem-solving; making adjustments to plans.Serve as a liaison, interacts with important clients, community leaders and other executives to help ensure informed and consistent decisions are made and problems are researched and resolved timely and appropriately.Deal discreetly with confidential information.Qualifications Required Qualifications The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.High school graduate or equivalentSeven years administrative experience in support role with two years of experience supporting a senior level manager or professionalExcellent verbal and written communication skills (including strong knowledge of spelling and grammar), organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and math skillsAbility to work independently and provide direction to other clerical staffAbility to deal with complex situations that require sound judgmentExhibits the poise, confidence, and interpersonal skills necessary to favorably interact with employees, clients, senior corporate officers, and directorsAbility to operate office equipment (fax, copier, etc.)Ability to endure light physical laborDemonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software productsGeneral Description of Available Benefits for Eligible Employees of Truist Financial Corporation: All regular teammates (not temporary or contingent workers) working 20 hours or more per week are eligible for benefits, though eligibility for specific benefits may be determined by the division of Truist offering the position.
