Position Summary
The Exceptional Student Education Coordinator provides leadership, training, and support to ensure students with disabilities receive high-quality, research-based instruction in compliance with state and federal laws. This role fosters collaboration among schools, families, and community stakeholders to promote inclusive practices, equitable access to the general curriculum, and effective delivery of special education and related services.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Certification in Educational Leadership or the appropriate certification that allows for supervisory roles over special education programs.
• Three years of successful experience teaching or providing services (i.e., Speech Therapy, School Psychology) to students with disabilities.
• Experience as a lead teacher or administrator in a school, school district, or related location.
