Board Certified Behavior AnalystUnder the general supervision of the Executive Director of Exceptional Children, to assist students, teachers, and parents in enabling students to derive the fullest educational experience from school by promoting positive self-esteem and resilience, and providing ABA-guided assessment and intervention in the school setting. Primary responsibilities include behavioral assessment and intervention plan development, teaching and modeling ABA-based interventions for staff, general program clinical guidance, report writing, providing direct intervention services to clients, as needed, providing training and ongoing evaluation of student's progress and program effectiveness, serving on the district autism team and MTSS meetings, and assisting in the identification and placement of students.Job requirements include BCBA certification, LPA preferred, 3+ years experience with individuals with autism and/or related developmental disabilities and mental health disorders, experience with severely challenging behaviors and the design and implementation of related assessment and intervention strategies, knowledge of differentiated instruction, excellent management and clinical skills, mastery of ABA principles, theory, methods, and evidence-based practices, knowledge of effective practice, clinical decision-making, outcomes-based intervention, and areas of practice specific to developmental disorders, valid driver's license, and reliable form of transportation.Additional duties include performing other related tasks as assigned by the Director of Exceptional Children and other central office administrators as designated by the Superintendent. Equipment used includes standard office equipment such as personal computer, printer, copy and fax machines, and telephone.

Travel to school district buildings and professional meetings as required. Physical requirements include ability to travel between schools/sites, normal routine levels of activity related to bending, carrying, climbing, reaching, sitting, standing, walking, and may also involve above-average levels of activity at times that cannot always be anticipated. Ability to lift and carry materials that could exceed 35 pounds and the ability to meet the physical needs of the students.
