Excel Expert for AI Training

Role Overview

Apply advanced Excel expertise to help train next-generation AI systems through high-quality, real-world business operations, strategy, and data analysis inputs. This remote contractor role focuses on non-financial operational and consulting use cases; prior AI experience is not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and improve complex Excel files used for business operations, strategy, and data analysis.
• Provide detailed feedback and practical examples of Excel best practices for operational and consulting work.
• Design, document, and share templates or solutions that capture expert knowledge for AI learning.
• Work with the customer team to identify workflows and operational challenges reflected in Excel documents.
• Evaluate and model real-world, non-financial business problems using advanced Excel features and formulas.
• Create clear written and verbal documentation, instructional materials, and actionable feedback.
• Develop data analysis case studies and operational scenarios using Excel expertise.

Qualifications

• Expert-level Microsoft Excel skills, including advanced functions, pivot tables, data validation, and automation tools.
• Experience building Excel solutions for business operations, strategy, or consulting environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability for complex, non-financial business challenges.
• Experience with data analysis, scenario modeling, and workflow optimization in Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Ability to document processes, develop instructional materials, and deliver clear feedback.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in business operations, strategy, or management consulting.
• Familiarity with AI training or domain contributions to machine learning datasets.
• Experience creating Excel-based tools or dashboards for operational excellence initiatives.

Work Terms

• Remote, independent contractor engagement.

Compensation

• $40 to $55 per hour.
