Exadata Database Machine AdministratorLocation: Chicago, IL – 100% Onsite Long Term Contract – W2 / C2CExperience: 10+ YearsKey Responsibilities:Administer and maintain Oracle Exadata Database Machines, including patching, monitoring, and performance tuning.Utilize features such as Hybrid Columnar Compression (HCC), RDMA, IORM, Smart Scan, and DBFS for optimized database performance.Perform and manage database migrations, backups, and restorations using modern methodologies and snapshot technologies.Handle InfiniBand configurations, Storage Server management, CellCLI, and bundle patches.Support and troubleshoot Oracle 19c RAC and ASM environments, ensuring high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) readiness.Set up and manage PDB/CDB configurations and implement Oracle ZDM (Zero Downtime Migration) processes.Conduct OS-level maintenance on OEL (Oracle Enterprise Linux) or Solaris systems.
