Event Worker: $20/hour
Volleyball Referee: $20/game
Basketball & Soccer Referee: $40/game
Job Description
Event worker perform the job as score keeping, setting up or tearing down game setup, driving teams to away games, or anything needed to make the athletic games operate at the direction of the athletic director.
Referees are responsible for the ethical enforcement of the game rules and game procedures in order to execute a fair competition between both sides.

Job Description

Job Summary
- Teach sport-specific fundamentals, rules, and strategies appropriate for middle school athletes
- Promote good sportsmanship, teamwork, leadership, and respect at all times
- Foster a positive team culture that emphasizes growth, effort, and learning
- Communicate effectively with athletes, parents/guardians, school staff, and administration
- Ensure compliance with school, league, and district policies and procedures
- Model professionalism and serve as a positive role model for students
- Prioritize student safety, including proper warm-ups, conditioning, and injury protocols
- Experience coaching or participating in the sport at the youth, middle school, or higher level
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work positively with middle school-aged students
- Required background checks and district/school clearances
- Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card required
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred but not required
- Teaching or coaching experience preferred but not required
- Games are Monday through Thursday from 3:30 - 5:00 pm
- Games are typically two days per week
- Work is performed indoors or outdoors, weather dependent
- Physical activity is required, including standing, walking, running, and demonstrating skills
- Exposure to varying weather conditions
- Seasonal position aligned with the athletic calendar
