Location: Baltimore Convention Center | Baltimore, MD
Pay: $22.00 per hour
SNI Companies is actively hiring reliable, professional, and customer-focused Event Staff to support a high-profile Eastern Regional Sorority Convention at the Baltimore Convention Center. This premier, multi-day event will welcome approximately 8,000 attendees and offers an outstanding opportunity to gain hands-on experience in conventions, hospitality, customer service, and large-scale event operations.

Tentative Event Schedule
Wednesday, August 26 - Registration Kit Assembly

• 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM: Registration Kit Assembly
  
• 4:00 PM - 4:30 PM: Orientation (Selected Team Members)
  
• 4:30 PM - 7:00 PM: Registration, Ticketing, Bag Distribution, and Bookstore

Thursday - Saturday (August 27-29)
Shifts may vary between 6:30 AM and 10:00 PM
Assignments may include:

• Registration
  
• Ticketing
  
• Bag Distribution
  
• Bookstore
  
• Exhibit Hall
  
• General Event Support

Shift times and assignments are tentative and subject to change based on event needs.
Key Responsibilities

• Assemble registration and welcome kits with accuracy and attention to detail.
  
• Organize badges, printed materials, and attendee giveaways.
  
• Inspect registration kits for quality and completeness.
  
• Welcome and assist convention attendees with registration and event services.
  
• Support registration, ticketing, bookstore, exhibit hall, and bag distribution operations.
  
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area.
  
• Deliver exceptional customer service while working in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Availability August 26-29 preferred
  
• Ability to work all four event days strongly preferred
  
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
  
• Reliable transportation to the Baltimore Convention Center
  
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
  
• Strong customer service and communication skills
  
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  
• Must be able to successfully pass a felony background check

Previous experience in events, conventions, hospitality, customer service, retail, warehouse, production, fulfillment, or registration is preferred, but not required .
