Soho Square Solutions is hiring an Event Manager for a global investment bank’s Global Markets division in Jersey City.
This is a contract supporting three flagship client events for the Equities business. You’ll plan, coordinate and run the events from start to finish, alongside the event owners, sales, marketing and outside vendors.
What you’ll do
- Plan and coordinate flagship client events with event owners, stakeholders and vendors
- Build and manage event budgets, timelines and logistics
- Work with marketing, communications and sales to promote each event
- Manage vendors: catering, AV, décor and venues
- Build and maintain event websites and registration platforms
- Arrange travel and accommodation for speakers, attendees and staff
- Run on-site: registration, catering and AV
- Track post-event KPIs and recommend improvements
What you bring
- 3 to 5 years of event management experience. Financial services strongly preferred. xhqgsiq
- A track record of delivering events on time and within budget
- Strong project management, organization and communication skills
- Hands-on experience with event registration platforms (Cvent, Bizzabo, Eventbrite or similar) and website management
- Ability to manage several priorities under pressure with a high level of accuracy
- Experience working with senior internal stakeholders and external partners
