Events Coordinator | USD Foundation & Alumni Association

Great events start with thoughtful planning, attention to detail, and people who make others feel welcome. The USD Foundation & Alumni Association is seeking an Events Coordinator to help deliver meaningful experiences that connect alumni, donors and friends with the University of South Dakota.
In this role, you’ll coordinate event logistics—from venues and vendors to registration and on-site execution—while working with colleagues, volunteers and university partners. You’ll also support everyday alumni engagement through responsive customer service and well-organized programs and materials.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Brings strong attention to detail and can manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Provides warm, responsive customer service and enjoys building relationships.
- Takes initiative, follows through, and adapts when plans change.
- Serves as a positive, professional brand ambassador for USD, bringing Coyote pride and care to every interaction.
This is a great opportunity for an early-career professional or someone looking to enter the higher education philanthropy and engagement industry. We welcome candidates with a related bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
The position includes travel and evening and weekend work to support events.
