ETL Tester

• Analyze business requirements, ETL specifications, source-to-target mappings, and data models.
• Design and execute test cases for ETL and Data Warehouse projects.
• Validate data extraction, transformation, and loading using Informatica PowerCenter.
• Perform source-to-target data validation, data reconciliation, and data quality testing.
• Execute functional, integration, regression, system, and UAT testing.
• Write complex SQL queries to validate backend data.
• Identify, track, and report defects using JIRA, HP ALM, or Azure DevOps.
• Validate data integrity, business rules, and large-volume data migrations.
• Collaborate with ETL developers, business analysts, data architects, and business stakeholders.
• Support production releases, post-deployment validation, test planning, and status reporting.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in ETL Testing and Data Warehouse Testing.
• Hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter and its associated tools.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, PostgreSQL, or Snowflake.
• Knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts, fact and dimension tables, Star and Snowflake schemas.
• Experience with data quality, reconciliation, and large-volume data validation.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms.
• Exposure to Databricks, Hadoop, Spark, Python, or Selenium is a plus.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
