ETL ProgrammerGenesis10 is currently seeking an ETL Programmer for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Pennington, NJ, Charlotte, NC, and Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.This role will support a data migration and reconciliation project, moving data from a DB2 environment to Teradata platforms. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Teradata SQL and Unix shell scripting. They will be responsible for analyzing existing integrations and developing target state database loads to ensure data is synchronized in batch.Responsibilities:Support data migration and reconciliation of a DB2 environment loading data to Teradata platformsAnalyze existing integration and develop target state database loads from an ETL platform to a Teradata platformEnsure data between environments is kept in sync in batch loadsUnderstand and develop generic shell scripts with dynamic capabilitiesRequirements:Experience with Teradata SQLExperience with UNIX/shell scriptingStrong written and oral communication skillsExperience with agile deliveryDesired skills:Experience creating testing plansExperience with DataStage or a comparable ETL toolPay range: $55.06 - $63.06 per hourOnly candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
