We are seeking an experienced ETL Informatica Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise data integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Informatica, SQL, data transformation, batch processing, workflow automation, and production support within a large-scale enterprise application
Additional Information*
The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Pittsburgh, PA/ Dallas, TX is $90k - $110k/year & benefits (see below)..
The Role
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows, mappings, sessions, and reusable components using Informatica PowerCenter.
- Develop data integration solutions to extract, transform, validate, and load data across multiple enterprise systems.
- Implement data quality checks, exception handling, audit controls, and reconciliation processes.
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
- Support batch processing, workflow scheduling, and job monitoring using enterprise scheduling tools.
- Troubleshoot ETL failures, perform root cause analysis, and implement performance improvements.
- Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and compliance with organizational standards.
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, DBAs, and infrastructure teams to deliver scalable data solutions.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, deployment procedures, and support runbooks.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, production deployments, and ongoing operational support.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of ETL development experience with Informatica PowerCenter.
- Strong SQL and database development experience.
- Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or DB2.
- Strong understanding of ETL design, data integration, and data warehousing concepts.
- Experience with batch processing and enterprise scheduling tools (Control-M, CA-7, Autosys, etc.).
- Unix/Linux and shell scripting experience.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and performance-tuning skills.
- Experience supporting production environments and resolving data-related issues.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in financial services, banking, or enterprise data platforms.
- Knowledge of data governance, auditing, and reconciliation processes.
- Familiarity with Java/Spring Batch environments.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
