Responsibilities
- Experience using Rally Agile tool
- ETL developer with minimum of 2-3 years of Ab Initio/ Informatica experience
- Should have skills in designing and developing extract, transform and load ETL processes
- Create and maintain adequate documentation of project ETL design, technical artifacts and ETL environment
- Very Large Database and DW implementation experience (20+ TBs), well versed in SQL, Oracle
- Programming skills in a Linux/Unix environment, including shell scripting
- Experience and ability to deliver results quickly in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects
- Understanding and working with data models to ensure data is structured appropriately for the target system
- Creating and implementing the logic for extracting, transforming, and loading data
- Identifying and resolving issues within the ETL processes and monitoring performance to ensure optimal functionality
- Design and develop ETL workflows, graphs, mappings to process and transform data from source to target
- Optimize ETL jobs for performance and scalability
- Handle data extraction, transformation, cleansing and loading into data warehouse or data lakes
- Ensure consistency and accuracy of integrated data; identify and resolve data quality issues and ETL job failures
- Develop test scenarios, test cases and execute functional testing
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of Informatica ETL tool
- Experience with ETL tools and data warehousing concepts
- Ability to document technical artifacts and ETL environments
