Our client is seeking an Estimator to join a well-established commercial general contractor and play a key role in bringing major projects from concept to bid. You'll work alongside a Senior Estimator on $10M-$100M commercial projects, helping shape accurate, competitive bids while collaborating with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Review plans, specifications, drawings, and project documents to determine scope
- Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and labor cost analysis
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing
- Develop accurate, competitive project estimates and bids
- Identify potential risks, cost savings, and project contingencies
- Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers throughout preconstruction
- Evaluate projects and support bid strategy and development
What You'll Need to be Considered:
- Ability to read Civil, Architectural, Structural, and MEP drawings
- Proficiency with Excel, On-Screen Takeoff (OST), and Bluebeam
- Understanding of commercial construction scopes and trade responsibilities
- Construction management or engineering degree is preferred, or equivalent experience
- Strong understanding of general contracting and preconstruction processes
- Willingness to work on-site in Temple or Austin
