Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Estimator with hands-on experience developing cost estimates for complex construction, infrastructure, civil, electrical, industrial, or utility projects. The ideal candidate will be able to interpret drawings and project scopes, develop quantities and costs, and understand construction means, methods, labor, materials, and other cost drivers.
Key Skills & Requirements:
- Hands-on construction estimating experience – REQUIRED
- Experience developing cost estimates for complex construction projects
- Ability to read and interpret civil or electrical drawings
- Experience developing quantities, labor, material, equipment, and project costs
- Strong understanding of construction means and methods
- Experience with estimating software such as HeavyBid or comparable platforms
- Ability to interpret preliminary drawings, sketches, and project scopes
- Understanding of construction trades and terminology
- Experience with civil, electrical, industrial, infrastructure, or utility estimating
- Strong analytical and communication skills
