Job Overview

This is a full-time on-site role for a Estimator located in Montgomery, NY. The primary responsibilities of this role includes managing project timelines, coordinating with teams, overseeing materials procurement, evaluating and review possible bid opportunities and leads, ensuring project compliance with specifications and standards, as you build to create cost estimates. All of the experience you bring to the estimating team will help drive successful project bids to ensure the company's continued growth and success.

Duties

• Executing

  estimates, procedures and process.

• The

  applicant should be able to demonstrate a

  proven track record in Project Management and the ability to handle all aspects of project planning and execution.

• Typically, projects

  include Hotels, Retail, Assistant Living and Commercial Housing.

• Proficiency

  with Onscreen, Quick bid, Procore, Bluebeam, Bluebook, Smart bid, Autodesk, CRM systems and Excel.

• Proven

  organizational, problem-solving, and time management abilities.

• A Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as construction management or engineering, is preferred, but not required

Qualifications

• Estimating principles, contracts, and cost control strategies.
• A clear understanding of on-the-ground operations and drawings.
• Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with clients and subcontractors.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications is preferred.
• Develop communication skills with lead teams and liaise with clients, at all levels.
