We are adding a Trust, Gift and Estate Tax Manager as we invest in the long-term future of this growing practice area.Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary technical resource for trust, gift, and estate tax engagements, managing clients from planning through complianceConsult directly with clients, business owners, and attorneys on strategies including the use of trusts and gifting vehicles to accomplish tax minimization and charitable planning goalsReview and oversee preparation of fiduciary income tax returns, gift tax returns, estate tax returns, and related compliance workPartner with professionals across practice areas to deliver integrated advice on business and individual tax mattersSupervise, mentor, and review the work of staff-level team membersMaintain direct client relationships with business owners, management personnel, and legal counselStay current on changes in tax law and regulations affecting estate, gift, and trust planningRequired Skills and QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting requiredMinimum 5 years of public accounting experience with a strong emphasis on trust, gift, and estate taxCPA preferred; EA consideredDeep technical knowledge of fiduciary income tax, estate and gift tax, and charitable planning vehiclesExperience managing, reviewing, and developing staffStrong verbal and written communication skillsProficiency with tax software and technology platformsTeam-oriented with a commitment to exceptional client serviceFor this position you must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
