Espresso Machine TechniciansHeartland Restaurant Group, one of the largest Dunkin' franchisees in the United States, operates nearly 80 locations across the Greater Tri-State Region. We are seeking a skilled Espresso Equipment Technician to support nearly 80 high-volume locations across the Greater Tri-State Region.If you have hands-on experience with Schaerer, Eversys, or similar super-automatic espresso machines, this role is built for you.This is not just general maintenance—we're looking for specialists who understand coffee systems, diagnostics, and precision equipment.Why This Role Stands OutWork on premium commercial espresso systems (Schaerer & Eversys)High-impact role supporting busy, revenue-critical coffee operationsConsistent, year-round work across a large, stable franchise networkOpportunity to become the go-to espresso expert on the teamCompany vehicle + tools + autonomy in the fieldWhat You'll Work OnEspresso & Beverage Equipment (Primary Focus)Diagnose, repair, and maintain:Schaerer & Eversys super-automatic espresso machinesGrinders, milk systems, steam systems, and water filtrationPerform calibrations, preventative maintenance, and deep cleaning cyclesTroubleshoot:Brew quality issuesPressure/temperature inconsistenciesElectrical/mechanical faultsInstall and commission new espresso equipmentAdditional Equipment (Secondary)Turbochef and Adamatic/Belshaw ovensRefrigeration systems (walk-ins, reach-ins)Basic plumbing and electrical systemsWhat We're Looking ForMust-Have Experience2+ years working on commercial espresso machines or beverage systemsStrong preference for:SchaererEversysFranke, WMF, or similar platformsTechnical SkillsAbility to read schematics and troubleshoot electro-mechanical systemsUnderstanding of:Boilers, pumps, grinders, and flow systemsPreventative maintenance for high-volume coffee equipmentComfort working independently in the fieldBonus PointsFactory training or certifications (Schaerer, Eversys, etc.)Experience in coffee chains, QSR, or high-volume environmentsDay-to-Day ExpectationsTravel between locations to service and maintain equipmentComplete work orders and communicate clearly with store teamsKeep accurate service records and manage parts inventoryIdentify issues before they become failuresRequirementsValid driver's license with a clean recordAbility to lift up to 100 lbsComfortable with on-call rotation, evenings, and weekendsAbility to work in tight spaces, on rooftops, and in varying temperaturesWho This Role Is Perfect ForEspresso techs tired of bench work who want field independenceCoffee equipment specialists looking for stable, full-time workTechnicians who enjoy problem-solving and hands-on diagnostics
