This role ensures accurate collection, disbursement, and monitoring of escrow funds related to taxes and other obligations, while maintaining compliance with regulatory and internal policy requirements.Key responsibilities include:Manage escrow account setup, maintenance, and monitoring across loan portfoliosPerform escrow analyses to ensure adequate funding for tax and other obligation requirementsProcess disbursements of property taxes and other escrow-related obligationsReconcile escrow balances and investigate discrepancies, shortages, or overagesMonitor exception reports and resolve aged escrow items (e.g., unpaid taxes or other outstanding obligations)Coordinate with borrowers, taxing authorities, and internal teams to ensure timely processingEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal proceduresMaintain accurate system records and audit-ready documentationSupport KPI reporting and portfolio performance analysisWhat do you need?3-5+ years of experience in Loan Operations: (escrow, servicing, or related functions preferred)Strong understanding of escrow processes, including tax and obligation trackingAbility to perform escrow analysis calculations (shortage/surplus, projections)Knowledge of loan servicing systems and escrow-related GL impactsExperience identifying and resolving reconciliation breaks and exceptionsFamiliarity with property tax cycles and obligation disbursement timelinesStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage high-volume workflowsAnalytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy in financial dataAbility to communicate effectively with internal teams and external partnersTechnology Skills:Knowledge of core banking/loan servicing systems (IBS Insight preferred)Familiarity with Salesforce or similar workflow/case management toolsProficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (pivot tables, reconciliations, tracking logs)Experience with reporting tools and data extractsWorking knowledge of AI tools (CoPilot, ChatGPT) for workflow efficiency and data validationCustomers Bank is an equal opportunity employer.
