Position: ERP Accounting Specialist
Seoyon E-Hwa Manufacturing Auburn, Inc., an automotive parts manufacturer, is seeking an ERP Accounting Specialist to support daily accounting operations, financial reporting, and the accuracy of financial records within the Company’s ERP system.
Key Responsibilities
• Record and review accounting transactions in the ERP system, verifying accuracy against supporting documentation.
• Support monthly and quarterly closing activities, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and related schedules, including balance sheets and income statements.
• Review accounts receivable and accounts payable records, monitor outstanding balances, and investigate discrepancies.
• Maintain prepaid expense schedules and other supporting records to ensure proper allocation of expenses to accounting periods.
• Reconcile ERP transaction data with general ledger balances and supporting records, coordinating with relevant departments to resolve inconsistencies.
• Maintain fixed asset records, including acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation schedules.
• Prepare cash flow reports and assist with cash forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning.
• Compile and analyze manufacturing cost and operating expense data to support financial reporting and variance analysis.
• Prepare accounting schedules and supporting documentation for external audits and tax reporting.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least one year of experience in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements, and account reconciliation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with attention to accuracy and detail.
• Experience with ERP accounting systems preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
