Position Description
ER Shift
Medical City McKinney Emergency Room Offers
- Assessment and treatment for people of all ages
- Board-certified or board-eligible emergency physicians
- Specially-trained nurses
- Primary Stroke Center
Qualifications
- Current licensure as an RN
- ADN Required; BSN Preferred
- Minimum of 1 year experience as an RN in the ER in an Acute Care hospital environment
- Willing to speak with candidates that don't have recent acute care experience. However, as long as it is not more than 5 years that they have not been in acute care. The decision also depends on how many years the candidate has.
- Current certification as a BLS Healthcare Provider
- ACLS Certification Preferred
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment
